Join a Co-op to Save on Produce

I participate in a biweekly produce co-op called Bountiful Baskets. If you live in AZ, ID, UT, or WA you should check out their website here.  It's a great offering at a wonderful price and you get varied items from week to week.

What is it?:
  • Produce co-op
  • Receive 2 medium laundry baskets of fruits and vegetables
How much?:
  • Conventional $15
  • Organic $25
  • Special handling charge of $1.50 per order
  • One time $3 set up fee for new members
Additional info:
  • Additional special offerings are available and vary from week to week (i.e. bread pack, Italian/Mexican pack)
  • Bring your own storage containers to take your food home with you
  • Several sites available to pick up your offering; new sites added constantly
  • In Arizona, weekly delivery alternates between east valley and west valley/organic
  • Pick up is on Saturday (times vary by site); the deadline to order is the Wednesday prior
  • Additional details can be found on the website here.
If Bountiful Baskets is not available in your area do an internet search to see what produce co-ops exist in your city.
